Join us for a Candlelight Vigil: Honoring Survivors of Commercial Sexual Exploitation
In recognition of National Crime Victims Awareness week, Breaking Free is proud to host a solemn candlelight vigil to remember the lives of survivors who have tragically lost their lives due to commercial sexual exploitation. Together, we will honor their resilience, celebrate their strength, and stand in solidarity with those who continue to fight against sex trafficking.
This evening of remembrance will feature heartfelt speeches from survivors and advocates, moments of silence, and uplifting messages. It's an opportunity for our community to come together, reflect, and support Breaking Free's mission to end sex trafficking.
We are grateful to Sunrise Bank for their generous sponsorship of this event.
Let's shine a light on the lives of survivors and reaffirm our commitment to creating a world free from exploitation. Together, we can make a difference.
Please RSVP to this event and share it with your friends and family. Together, we can make a meaningful impact.
We hold a graduation ceremony to celebrate the people who have successfully completed the 14-week Sisters of Survival class.
We are always in need of sponsors/volunteers to help with food and refreshments as well as setting up and tearing down, greeting guests, serving food, and supervising children. Please contact Flora at fwhitfield@breakingfree.net
Breaking Free hosts an Annual Christmas Party for our clients. This is a tradition that we take very seriously as many of our clients don’t have extended family or community friends in which to celebrate the holidays.
We are always in need of donations to help with food, decorations, tableware, and arts and crafts supplies. Volunteers are appreciated to help set up and tear down, greet guests, serve food, and monitor adult and children's arts and crafts.
We take on-going donations to help contribute to this event.
Each year, we host an adopt-a-family opportunity for donors to adopt a survivor and their family for the holiday season.
